Welcome to Single Fathers of America

At Single Fathers of America, we believe that every father deserves a fair chance to be a loving and present parent in their children's lives. Our mission is to bring awareness to the challenges and biases that single fathers face within the judicial and domestic relations systems. We are dedicated to advocating for the rights of single fathers and fighting against the unfair treatment they often endure.

Founded in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, Single Fathers of America emerged from the personal experiences and struggles of single fathers who have faced systemic bias and injustice. We understand firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate a system that often seems stacked against fathers. Our organization was created to provide a voice for single fathers and to rally support for much-needed reforms.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:

• Raise Awareness: Shed light on the mistreatment and biases single fathers face within the judicial and domestic relations systems.

• Advocate for Change: Work towards changing state laws to impose 4-year terms for judges and make it easier to discipline and remove biased judges.

• Provide Support: Offer resources, support, and a community for single fathers navigating these challenging systems.

• Drive Legal Reform: Gain support from legislators and government officials to implement changes that protect the rights of single fathers and ensure a fair and just system for all.

Why We Fight

Too often, single fathers are treated unfairly in custody battles and other legal matters, simply because of outdated stereotypes and biases. The current judicial and domestic relations systems frequently fail to recognize the important role fathers play in their children's lives. We believe that by bringing these issues to light and advocating for systemic changes, we can create a fairer and more just environment for all parents.
